Karen and Jeff had been married just shy of six years when they embarked on KLBJ-FM's Ramblin' Gamblin' Sea Adventure. The ship left Port Canaveral, Florida on October 13, 1996, and cruised to Freeport and Nassau in the Bahamas. The cruise took place right in the middle of hurricane season but no one seemed to notice or even care. Mr. and Mrs. Gish celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on October 20, 2015.
